EDUCATIONAL YEAR CIRCUS

In this ten-month basic training for contemporary circus, we offer you the opportunity to get intensively involved with the art of contemporary circus and to take a good step towards your goal of becoming a professional circus performer.

More than 160 moving days, space for creativity, a highly motivated team - circus in an intensive practical form with theoretical background knowledge.

You would like to apply to training institutions? You would like to get involved with circus in a practical and theoretical way? Would you like to train regularly in a fixed group and try out your artistic skills? Then the circus education year is the right choice for you!

The facts at a glance:

• 10 months of CIRCUS in intensive practical form with theoretical background knowledge and a final project with all participants in Berlin.
• Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm each day (except public holidays and school holidays in Berlin)
• In order to support our students individually and to strengthen the sense of togetherness and cooperation, we work in fixed groups.
• Training languages are German and English. Theoretical seminars are predominantly in German.
• 3800€ - payment in installments is of course possible, without additional costs. 
• Support with further planning of your artistic path, with the preparation of application documents, advice on professional orientation and with funding applications.

• Circus techniques in the areas of AERIAL, FLOOR, JONGLAGE.
• work on artistic expression and interpretation
• basic physical training (strength, flexibility, dance)
• theoretical knowledge (on body, space, music and sound, dramaturgy, history...)
• improvisation and movement research, including a big improvisation session with all educational programmes
• choreographic knowledge
