EDUCATIONAL YEAR DANCE

The EDUCATIONAL YEAR DANCE is for people who want to spend 10 months intensively dealing with the topic of DANCE in a practical and theoretical way. Monday to Thursday: dancing, sweating and creating!

More than 160 days of moving, room for creativity, a motivated group. 

DANCE in intensive practical form with theoretical background knowledge.

In a fixed group, you will have the chance to explore different dance techniques, dance as an art form and how it relates to space and music and other artistic genres in interaction with movement. It can be used as a creative space per se, for further development, as a preparation for studies, as a time-out, as further education, with intensive opportunities for networking.

The focus of the year lies on experiencing dance as an art form: the big final performance at the end of the year offers you the opportunity to try out being a dancer in various works by professional choreographers, but also being a choreographer of your own creation.

The facts at a glance:

• 10 months of DANCE in intensive practical form with theoretical background knowledge and a final project with all participants in Berlin.
• Monday to Thursday, from 9 a.m to 3 pm each day (except public holidays and school holidays in Berlin)
• In order to support our students individually and to strengthen the sense of togetherness and cooperation, we work in fixed groups.
• Training languages are German and English. Theoretical seminars are predominantly in German.
• 3600€ - payment in installments is of course possible, without additional costs. 
• Support with further planning of your artistic path, with the preparation of application documents, advice on professional orientation and with funding applications.
