Europe
SENECA INTENSIV is open to approaches to movement arts and their teaching in other European countries and is interested in the international transfer of knowledge. As an educational institution, we stand up for European values and want to contribute to a democratic and socially just society as well as a committed, Europe-conscious civil society.
We believe that artistic movement can overcome social and cultural boundaries. Cultural education therefore offers enormous potential to promote a sense of community and democratic values. Dance, circus and movement theater must be considered globally and therefore also in European terms, not least because of their diverse international roots, techniques and trends. Recognizing this diversity is not only enriching, but also essential for quality educational programmes at SENECA INTENSIV.
International networking with training centers and movement arts alliances is important to us. For example, we regularly place our graduates at renowned universities throughout Europe and try to improve our own work through increasing exchange with other educational institutions. SENECA INTENSIV is therefore also part of FEDEC (Federation of Circus Schools Europe).
SENECA INTENSIV is supported by the European Social Fund and the Senate Department for Culture and Europe, among others.
