CURRENT
A dynamic intensive program designed as a springboard for artists who want to expand their position as authors/choreographers/makers of their own work in the independent performing arts scene in Berlin and internationally. The program provides the tools, confidence and networks to develop and market freelance projects in the transdisciplinary and body-oriented performing arts.
With a focus on
choreography, creation and authorship, the program enables participants to initiate, plan and execute their own performance projects. From conception to realization, it provides an insight into the various levels of the creation process, as well as the framing project and production management. Through a combination of practical and theoretical workshop inputs and mentoring, the program prepares artists to orient themselves and network in the regional, national and international context of the independent performing arts scene.
