Educational Year Physical Theatre

The Educational Year Physical Theatre is a 10-month educational program at the intersection of dance, acting and circus; based on the technique Mime Corporel Dramatique (Etienne Decroux). The body is at the center. From classical mime to modern mime, from the tradition of Commedia dell' Arte to performance. From clownery to acrobatics.

Objects, masks, clowning, composition, improvisation... in the studio and in public spaces... new paths for movement theater.

The facts at a glance:

• 10 months of PHYSICAL THEATRE in intensive practical form with theoretical background knowledge and a final project with all participants in Berlin.
• Monday to Thursday, from 9 am to 3 pm each day (except public holidays and school holidays in Berlin)
• In order to support our students individually and to strengthen the sense of togetherness and cooperation, we work in fixed groups.
• Training languages are German and English. Theoretical seminars are predominantly in German.
• 3600€ - payment in installments is of course possible, without additional costs. 
• Support with further planning of your artistic path, with the preparation of application documents, advice on professional orientation and with funding applications.
