EDUCATIONAL YEAR DANCE & VOICE
10 months education in the field of body and voice
The EDUCATIONAL YEAR DANCE & VOICE is for people who want to spend 10 months intensively exploring the connection between body and voice, both practically and theoretically. Singing, dancing, playing, combining movement and voice, developing figures, interpreting music, making texts audible and visible. Space for creativity, in a motivated group, but also in individual lessons.
The workshop in winter and the big final performance at the end of the year offer you the opportunity to try yourself out as a performer and present yourself as a soloist and in an ensemble.
Who is the EDUCATIONAL YEAR DANCE & VOICE suitable for?
- For people who are motivated, reliable and open to new ideas.
- For people who want to combine the art forms of singing and dancing
- For people who want to prepare intensively for a course of study or training.
- For young performers who want to work with voice and movement and who want to prepare for entry into the working world.
- For experienced artists from the fields of theater, singing, dance and performance who want to expand their skills.
- For young people who want to try out whether musical/musical theater is “more than just a nice hobby”.
- For people who have already sung, danced and acted a lot in their lives and want to use the year as a creative space for themselves, develop further, expand their network or take the step into staging, in a protected space with advice and organization from others.
- For people from the age of 17.

Basic information on the structure of the EDUCATIONAL YEAR DANCE & VOICE
The EDUCATIONAL YEAR DANCE & VOICE is divided into 5 phases.
Phase 1 - Lots of training (in groups and in meaningful partner lessons) but also theory - when the head is well filled, the body also works better and creativity can unfold in the best possible way. As we consider theoretical backgrounds to be very important for performing artists, there are basic theoretical seminars. And planning the individual lessons.
Phase 2 - build-up phase - finding groups, lots of training, exploring the body in group and individual classes, your own limits and possibilities. Singing, sweating, dancing, growing! The open days, the big improv jam session, a workshop performance, start of planning for the solo pieces
Phase 3 - lots of training, and the development of several stage pieces for the final performance in a group or as a soloist
Phase 4 - Work, work, work! - Intensive, varied voice and body, own artistic projects, group trip
Phase 5 - Creation phase - In the final phase, the individual pieces are developed, rehearsed and brought together with the group pieces to create a joint full-length final performance - the KONDENSAT. Experiencing the stage together is a central component of the educational year
