Company SI

Project-based company for SENECA INTENSIV graduates and guests

Tänzer auf der Bühne mit Projektionen und einer riesigen Plastikblase

About The Company SI

Company SI offers SENECA INTENSIV graduates the opportunity to remain artistically connected even after completing their training. As a dance company in Berlin, it creates a space for continuous technical development and professional stage experience. Integration into the graduate network will sustainably support the transition to Berlin's independent scene.

The concept

Founded in 2016, Company SI is based on SENECA INTENSIV's core values: joint work and lifelong learning. The ensemble brings together talents from the fields of dance, circus and physical theatre to explore new, interdisciplinary performance approaches.

Current projects

Project-based work

Company SI works on a project-by-project basis. For each production, a team is put together from a pool of interested graduates, which develops new pieces under professional guidance.

Possible projects include:

  • Stage productions: full-length plays for theaters and festivals.
  • Interdisciplinary projects: Research at the interface of movement, light and sound.
  • Network & exchange: Collaborations with external professional artists and international partners such as the Goethe-Institut.
