Dance and Cultural Education

Creating art and acting pedagogically - A balancing act of integrating one's own artistic creation into the educational field. 

SPLIT is an in-service educational programme for pedagogical work with artistic movement and offers the opportunity to gain an insight into the possibilities and methods of artistic-creative work with movement in the child, primary school and youth sector. 

Possible fields of work: 

• schools and day-care centres
• Local educational landscapes, such as music schools, libraries, youth art schools
• recreational facilities, circus initiatives and clubs
• media centres and theatres

Contents:

To obtain a certificate, you must pass a final examination (a teaching sample and a final interview). To be admitted to the examination, you must have attended the following seminars:

• Teaching competence basics 
• At least one seminar from the range - Teaching competence Target group
• Early childhood education, primary school age, youth, seniors, acrobatics aerial, acrobatics floor, inclusive work
• At least one seminar from the offer - Useful 
• Psychomotricity, Improvisation and Design, Voice Training for Teachers, Laban/ Bartenieff Movement Studies, Interdisciplinary Work, Pantomime for Pedagogical Work, Clown for Pedagogical Work
• At least one seminar from the range - Background 
• Dance History Overview, Dance History Modern/ Postmodern, Dance History Classical Dance, Dance History Contemporary Dance, Dance History Jazz/ Show, Dance History HipHop, Circus History, History Contemporary Circus
• One seminar block - Improvisation
• One seminar block - Composition

Costs:

The total cost (including seminars, teaching samples, individual support and certificate examination) is € 460.
