In this workshop, we’ll explore formats for participatory knowledge and experience-building through perception exercises: What did I see/hear/feel, and how did it affect me? A playful exploration of our knowledge—knowledge that isn’t acquired but is experienced through action. Together, we’ll put verbal, visual, and body-based feedback methods to the test. These methods are rooted in the idea of collective learning based on empowerment and dialogue. They emphasize the principle of giving between the person receiving feedback and the person or people asked to provide it.

As a workshop participant, you are asked to see yourself as a learner and to bring with you the willingness to engage with others and learn from one another. You should be willing to share your own experiences and knowledge, constructively connect different perspectives, and acknowledge ambiguities and differences.

Constanze Kresta and Nora Frohmann from “you are warmly invited” will lead the workshop.

“you are warmly invited” is an initiative for reflection and feedback on the current state of contemporary performing arts. It fosters networking among artists, collegial exchange, and visibility.
