overview

The Dance Education: Target Groups & Exchange program is specialized training in dance education with a focus on diversity and inclusion. The participants are researching how professional dance lessons are adapted to different age groups and physical requirements — from working with children to dancing for seniors.

By combining didactics, methodology and reflection, we investigate how physical and psychological factors influence learning success. The aim is to develop practical tools for inclusive dance education and to consolidate one's own role as a mediator in the social and artistic context of the Berlin and international dance scene.

Is it a fit?

This program is for people who:
  • are between 20 and 60 years old
  • are motivated, reliable and open to new ideas
  • want to deepen their expertise in community dance and inclusive work.
  • want to expand their network and benefit from professional exchange.
  • prepare yourself for professional paths in dance education or cultural education.
