SENECA INTENSIV actively participates in European artistic and educational exchange. We are convinced that movement arts benefit from international dialogue, cooperation and the cross-border exchange of knowledge. Dance, circus and movement theatre are deeply influenced by international influences. We therefore regard European cooperation as an essential component for developing high-quality education programs and promoting cultural exchange.

Influencing Europe is a movement-oriented education project that is supported by the Erasmus+ program and has been implemented INTENSIVELY by SENECA since the 2023/24 school year. The project introduces secondary and vocational education students to European values through artistic movement and dance. In 20-25 units, participants explore questions about identity, democracy and social participation through choreographic work. Accompanied by professional dance teachers, they develop their own performance and reflect on their position in a regional, national and European context.

SINIPARKSI is a Creative Europe project with a focus on cultural diversity in contemporary dance. The project brings together four European dance institutions from France, Greece, Germany and Croatia to investigate how dance projects can react to increasingly diverse societies. Choreographers and dance teachers from participating institutions exchange practices and develop methods for working with heterogeneous groups. The results are published as a training kit, which includes an educational guide and video material for dance makers. The project promotes participatory artistic practices that respect cultural diversity and cultural rights across Europe.
